Get the vet to check him out, older cats often develop thyroid problems.
Hi dylan1959, one of my cats has been diagnosed with thyroid some of the symptons are more aggression than usual, eating a lot more but getting thinner and less condition in the fur. It may be worthwhile taking him to the vet for a checkover. If it is thyroid and it goes untreated it can get very serious.
Cheers Sue
