how long to keep child off school after they have had D and V
Hello all, my daughter has been poorly this weekend with sickness and diarrhea. It has more or less stoped now - 16.00 on sunday. How long, if at all would be the recommended time to keep her off school? Many thanks

If she ate something that didn't agree with her then she is no risk to anyone else, so could go back as soon as you feel she is well enough, if you think she is infectious then a day or two depending on the school policy.
Probably also depends on whether you are a working parent. Luckily my two are healthy anyway, but I think they were the only two kids in school with perfect attendance last year as we both work and have no other support for childcare. You are therefore more likely to send them and hope for the best!

Thank you for replies.im not sure what has made her poorly, myself and her brother are fine, so that points to her eating something dodgy. But i know that might not neccesarily be true, as i may have already had the bug etc. I think it will be best to keep her off, will also phone school for their policy. Thank you all again.
