The posting on Twitter was disgusting certainly!
A pat on the bottom is not shocking or sexual assault and the woman concerned should get a bl00dy grip.
Oh honestly!
I agree - a pat on the bottom is not always wanted, encouraged or desired, but hell - it hardly constitutes sexual assault. Especially when it's from a 71 year old (eh Sqad?!!!)
'Correctness' gone mad.
I don't mind the odd pat myself - so long as the hand is clean, it doesn't leave a mark on me bum, and the fingers don't stray..... ;-)
I agree Lottie, but it's hardly "news" or worth twittering about.
A client made an appalling sexual comment to me yesterday which I just laughed off. Perhaps I should be twittering it right now. Whereas I just thought he was a bit of a jerk.
Hip joint is covered with muscles, shoulder joint is covered in muscles, but a slap on the buttock, rather than arm might be looked upon as "just not on". What is sacrosanct about the gluteal region.....no sex organs there.
Oh, I will sue for racial discrimination, sexual harassment, for not being able to wear a bhurka, for sex equality
yawnnnnnnnnnnnnn
silly mare that she is
I think putting it on a Twitter page is a little OTT - she should have dealt with it at the time - when this happened to me on a regular basis - I turned round shoved him into the filing cabinets, which in turn made a racket and the whole office looked around - sorted
I would have admonished the man if it were my bottom he patted,I wouldn't have been shocked though,or gone off mentioning it to every person I encountered for the next several hours.
