Hi

I'm having to leave my little one for anything from 1 week to 3 weeks whilst I go away to have my 2nd.

I've got her meal plan sorted, all I need to do is russtle up enough meals for 3 weeks and freeze them

I've got a task/routine sheet for what we get up to and times.

I'm just writing up another sheet just with little things that my daughter does that will hopefully make life easier for her granny e.g. best not to dry her in the bathroom as she fidgets to much and has banged her head a couple of times.... favourite toys..... likes to feed herslf makes her mad if you help.... what i do when i put her to bed.... she can open the front door so be careful, has started climbing on kitchen chairs so be careful etc etc.

its just silly things but hopefully it'll help

Thats a long time for a 2nd baby, usually its a couple of days.

its because we live so far away. its a 400 mile journey. if i get a section i'll be kept in for a week before i get to fly home

also, i've to leave where we stay a week before my due day. if i go into my 39th week i have to fly with a midwife.

so theres a lot of waiting before i even go into the hospital. have to stay at the red cross
It all sounds a bit of a nightmare - where do you live?
what sort of music does your little one like, i could suggest some really good songs to download to keep her relaxed and calm
Good luck, sounds like you're well organised

It wouldn't be so bad if it was my first and I was having to go away but its a bit trickier when you've got another little one.

If we were taking the little one a trip down to have our 2nd baby could end up costing over £1000
