Halloween game suggestions . . .
8 Answers
I am trying to think of a game to entertain approx 10 kids of varying ages (6-16) at a Halloween party.
I did a treasure hunt last year and was trying to think of something similar, but different, if you know what I mean?!
Don't want to do bobbing for apples etc - I would like to do something unusual.
All suggestions gratefully received.

We also had a game called treacle donuts where you would tie donuts covered in treacle or something else sticky from varying lengths of string and then suspend this in the air and you had a competition to see who could eat theirs first without using their hands.
Flap the Ghost. Cut out ghost shapes (about 50cm long) from thin white paper, split the group into 2 teams each team with a folded up newspaper. Have a start and end point, about the length of your room. First person in each team 'flaps' the ghost with the newspaper until it reaches the finish line than flaps it back to the next team member who then does the same. First team to use all their players and get their ghost back first is the winner. The thinner the paper, the more 'flappy' and erratic the ghost will be!
think a treasure hunt is a brilliant idea - you could also do;
* wrap the mummy
* a halloween version of pin the tail on the donkey (i.e nose on the witch etc)
* halloween pass the parcel
* get everyone to draw their best halloween piccies & winner gets a prize
* blind mans buff
* hide & seek
have fun ! :)

Sounds fun!
We have a Halloween party in our after school club every year, things we have done include the usual apple bobbing, treasure hunts etc. The one the kids (3-15) loved was a massive box of spaghetti all covered so they didn't know what was in it, and we had little plastic spiders and bugs in it for them to fish out, like 'worm jelly' even the older ones loved it, the one's who could stomach finding something got a treat!
We also love blindfolding them and hanging mini ring doughnuts on string and giving them a chance to get them with no hands. Cannot wait for Halloween, the kids love it!!
