Heeey again :) well, my best friends mum and my dad , kind of like eachother (its a bit obvious) and we would really like them to start dating , it is a good oppurtunity for both of them as they are single and get along with eachother well :) any advice to get them set up? x

Don't bother. Getting along and fancying each other are two different things.

staying out of it is good advice, they are not children so if it is meant to be or not, they will decide that better on their own.

Have a birthday party and invite them both, but invite other people as well. You can't make them get together, but it can work. My sister and her chap got together as a result of family and friends making an intro, they were both widowed and the families felt they would suit - and they did.
However "a good opportunity for them" as you put it - from whose perspective? I was very happy when I was single, they might not want another relationship!
