Lee Evans

There were several programmes on last night featuring Lee Evans. I forgot just how funny this guy was. His stand up routines, in my opinion, are second to none. Fantastic observation comedy and so much energy in his routines. Then, when interviewed, a very honest and humble guy - I have become a massive fan!

My question - has anyone seen him live and does anybody know if/when he is next touring?

he's too busy making movies now isnlt he? I used to enjoy his live shows on DVD but it seems ages since the last one and they are on tv so often i gave up bothering to watch, plus we have them on DVD here too, he was good in the Fifth element though and i can watch that anytime and enjoy it

I saw him support Jack Dee in the mid 1990's. I had heard of him but did not know anything about his act. Afterwards, we knew he was going to be very big. Evans is a great performer. Very unusual delivery. Funny material and acts it out with a lot of energy!

Not keen I'm afraid. Too much slapstick and too many pratfalls for my liking.
Seems to model himself on Norman Wisdom; didn't like him either!
