Well I can see this being the first of many baby related questions I'll be asking in the coming months!

little one has got a touch of colic, and I've found the only way of comforting her is when she is laying on her stomach, on my chest - is this ok? She settles well and falls asleep there. So many professionals have been saying not to let her sleep on her front, does that just apply to the cot? Sorry for my complete ignorance!

anne, everything makes me broody. But one look at my two little cherubs and it goes straight out of my mind :)

She's started on the infacol, not sure if it's working tho.
infacol is hit or miss, it made mine worse. give it a couple of days and see
How old is your baby?
Question Author
Should it stop altogether with infacol, or just make it a bit more bearable?
Question Author
She was born on 5th mrs o
Not sure jb. Are you bottle-feeding her?
jb, what did you call you wee girl ? and how are you !!?
I tried every product on the market (infacol, gripe water etc) with my 3 and nothing worked. I used to lay them face down across my lap and rub their backs - that seemed to help.
The colic stopped dead just before each of them was 12 weeks old - that must seem like a lifetime away for you at the moment.
I believe you can buy special teats for feeding bottles which reduces the amount of air a baby swallows - it may help
Try the 'colic hold'....her dad used this for lil pasta when she was suffering
