Lethargic duck, not eating - Any advice?
4 Answers
I've kept chickens for ages but am new to ducks, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I've got a couple of Aylesburys, Magpies and Appleyards but the Magpie drake, since yesterday afternoon, has become very lethargic and is not eating.
I have two ponds, a large one a hundred yards or so from the house where they normally go through the day and a small one, which is much closer, that they come back to overnight. Last night he wasn't interested in eating and this morning he wouldn't follow the others down to the big pond, he's just sat around the small pond, lethargic, looking depressed and still not eating. He's drinking and has had a bit of a swim a couple of times, but is clearly not himself.
Any ideas on what it might be or what I should do?
