Could I be pregnant?

I am asking this as it is near impossible to get a doctor's appointment where I am.

I was on holiday about 6 weeks ago. I had sex 2 days before we were due to leave, we used a condom but it split. I am on the pill but because of the time difference I'm not sure if I took it correctly. We left on the Monday and arrived home on the Tuesday. I took the morning-after pill as soon as I arrived in the UK. The pharmacist at Boots said I was still within the 72 hour mark. My periods are not regular and the nature of the pill I am on means some months I get a period and some months I don't so I can't say whether I am late or not. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests, both of which were negative. My problem is I am feeling sick, I can't sleep, I feel extremely tired and my appetite is through the roof. I know it seems very vague, I am just in a bit of a panic. I would appreciate any help.

Highly unlikely.
its very doubtful you are pregnant based on what you have written.

Thank you. I keep reading about people who have had negative tests and they end up pregnant. Also because I didnt think I had taken my pill properly I assumed I wouldnt have been properly protected.

Thanks for your answers
If you were pregnant the test would be positive after 6 weeks. They only show as negative if they are taken too early.
not entirely true, some people can get negative results right through pregnancy ummmm. But redvelvet i doubt you are.
To add to the voting .. I highly doubt you are too, going by that history.

Thanks again.
4getmenot, I had read your post about your stomach pains. On Christmas Eve I had a pain in my stomach on the left hand side, some people were replying to your post saying it was your womb preparing for pregnancy, hence the freak out! lol I am 99% positive I'm not pregnant but when I read things like that and online loads of people who have had negative pregnancy tests who turn out to be pregnant, it worries me a bit.

Anyway I am sure I am not, I just needed a little reassurance! Thank you all
even if you could make an appointment, your doctor wont be able to tell you anything else than you know now
I cant see how that could work 4get, the body produces an increased amount of the hormone that the test detects as time goes on, I can understand initial negatives as there may be a small amount of the pregnancy hormone in the system, not enough for the test to pick up, but after a few weeks it should pick it up.
with just missing pill and also having morning after pill very slim chance. And symptoms for pregnancy are much the same as when you are due your period so very confusing. Would it be a problem if you were? X

Personally, yes. I'm not ready for kids and I am not in a relationship.
ah right gotcha. Possibly thats why you are over worrying. It will be fine.
Question Author
Thank you for your help and reassurance. I am a bit of a worrier! lol
I don't get how that works either 4get.
You have me worrying now ... lol : )
Doesn't the hormone double every 48 hours?
neither can i cazzz, maybe dodgy supply lol. But you dont just suddenly get a positive result after 28 days. Can get false negative but not false positive.
yes, its impossible to go through a whole pregnancy without the hcg hormone being detected
But you can take early tests before the 28 days are up...
i know people where it showed positive on blood tests but not urine.
