Can it be seen on an internal ultrasound earlier than six weeks?

Everyone is different. We had a scan at 7 weeks because the doc couldn't pick up the heartbeat with his umm... thingy. The ultrasound just about picked it up. A little flickering of white! It was amazing :o)
Yes, fetal heart beat can be picked up at 6 weeks using a scan, particularly an internal scan. I think generally the midwife can hear the heart with her doppler thingy from 14 weeks, but she picked it up at 11 weeks with us!!
Thingy/Doppler = Stethescope
I wouldn't think earlier than 6 weeks but like OBonio we saw one at 7 weeks with our baby. It really is stunning.
My beloved wife had an internal scan on monday (23/5) she was 6 weeks at that point and we could see the heartbeat flickering, which led to a dispute as when we got the photos she wouldn't let enrole him/her in the junior baggies.
So basicly I dont know if the heartbeat can be picked up before 6 weeks just wanted to spread my good news
