Period is late and negative test x 2 and had a urine sample at doctors

Hi can someone help I am 5 days late and have done 2 tests and they are negative. I went doctors today and he has sent a urine sample to hospital to be checked. I have had a period belly ache for about 8 days but no period

I think the best thing is to await the results and see the doctor if your problems persist in the meantime. I doubt that there is any more we can do. sqad may have a suggestion though

Stressing can cause it to be late but sometimes the cramps just keep on coming. Hope that it arrives soon and leaves sooner and that everything is ok :)

Hi littleme,

Lots of bugs about at the moment, and maybe you just picked one up....could be gastro related.....just wait until you get the results of the urine test and stop stressing if you can, as its not going to help you. If something needs to be done asap, the hospital will get the results to your GP quickly.

Hope its nothing to worry about and everythings hunky dory.

Period symptoms can occur, weeks before the actual 'event'. I always get a belly ache, sore boobs, and feel sick - all common 'pregnancy symptoms'.
Chill out, your stress levels are probably to blame. Just see what the doc says.

P.S Is this the same thread that was earlier addressed to the ed? Is it his baby? Do you need a DNA? Did you get his cell number? He's not very good at getting back to emails... :P

I would try not to worry too much, happened to me about 12 years ago for 2-3 months, I never went to doc and everything resumed as normal eventually. I'm sure it will be ok, just try not to fret over it , sometimes these things just happen then fix themselves

Well, clearly you are not pregnant.

The "period belly ache" could or could not be associated with your periods. I guess that you have no other symptoms....water work problems, bowel problems.....then take Ibuprofen 600mgms (3*200mgms) in one dose and monitor the situation.
