Just How Long does it take to get histology results ???????

2 weeks since the removal thereof said offending item,
5 weeks since emergency admission.

I hate waiting. Maybe you should have used a Vet - their results seem to come back quicker. Get yourself a furry onesie with a fluffy tail and see what happens. :-)

My father was waiting for some results and they had forgotten to send them (bowel cancer re-test). Luckily, he is a hematologist (sp) at a neighbouring hospital so he pulled a few strings to get them. Can you pull any strings?

are you waiting patiently or ringing them up every day and bending their ears? Is your GP doing anything on your behalf?

Have you had the consultants PA chase them? I've done that for patients, (ours are usually back relatively quickly, week or so, occasionally two).

I was told 10 to 14 days which was on the 26th April, which make this the deadline. No pun intended.

Have had to go out and get slightly drunk. After sleeping most of the day and waiting for the phone call that never came.
