When Is The Nhs Open ?

Does your hospital work a 4 Day week ? Mine does ! From after 4pm Thursday until the following Tuesday it is effectively closed . As I was told by a Sister ' If you want a doctor during that time go to the Golf Course.

Recently 4 of us patients were told we would be discharged the next day a Fri. but because there were no doctors to sign us off we were still there on the following Mon. evening. After a bit of a row I was sent home in a taxi without proper paper work at 10pm .

As for the 4 hour wait limit in A&E it's a load of nonsense after the 4 hours they move you to an adjacent ward and restart the clock, still without getting any treatment.

A 4 hour target is as arduous a target as Santa deciding he must visit at least two houses at Xmas.

That is really bad modeller, our hospital even have clinics at the week-end. I booked an appointment and got one on a Saturday.

Do I really need to spell it out ? No one was being admitted or discharged .
Most departments were not working. The pharmacy was closed . The wards were just ticking over. Doctors were ' unavailable ' ! Nurses were a rarity .
Forensics were unavailable ! What more do you want ?
