Watching a news clip about the borderless Irish border, and thinking what a joyful thing it is - an apparently unexpected consequence of the Good Friday Agreement, which (the lack of a border, that is) has gone a long way to dispel tensions in the six counties and beyond - even Orangemen are, from all accounts, against the 'hard' border being reinstated...

While it was there, oftimes manned by men with guns, it just underlined The Problem. Its absence suggests A Solution, and nearly everyone is happier.

Then tears, thinking about what you Brexiteeers are about to throw away, both in Ireland and in Europe. Borders help keep peoples separate; they heighten tensions. The lack of borders brings people together, in a calmer, inclusive way.

Talk about babies and bathwater - and all to show one grimey British finger to Johnny Foreigner.

Throw toys out of pram because democratic elections didn't go our way in the EU.
Then when the democratic elections (is democracy still democracy when people voted on a bed of lies?) happened here on the vote to stay or leave, leavers moaned that remainders weren't happy with the vote.

It's a pathetic double standard. But i wouldn't suppose a brexeteer is even aware of the hypocrisy they carry.

MEP elections are democratic. Brexeteers didn't liek them so they want to leave the EU.

Brexit elections were democratic.. Leavers don't like the result, so brexeteers slate, slash and slander them.

While there's a discussion about spelling the word 'brexiteer', I'm pleased to see, on this posting at least, no one has used that dreadful word 'remoaner'. Let's debate, but let's respect each others opinions.
