Heavily pregnant Cat

Hi, I cant waite we are so excited!!!

My Lovely Female cat is due to have her kittens sometime towards the end of next week, She has got so big now, She is on kitten food and kitten biscuits and is eating loads,
We have put boxes all around the house in silly places and she is just started getting in them, I am abit nervous as its her first time Can anyone tell me how many kittens a first time mum will have, I thought it was two but she looks far too big for 2 kittens,

My wee cat looked huge just before she gave birth lol like a little barrel :-) she had 3 kittens. But years ago I had a cat who gave birth to 6! Good luck and lucky you, kittens are probably THE cutest thing in the world. Let us know when she has then.

I had a cat once that had 11 kittens, she didn't have any problems in birthing. Enjoy them it's a lovely experience

I didn tknow my cat was pregnant till a week before she gave birth!! I put boxes and blanket everywhere,especially in quiet places ,and what did she do - went and got into my wardrode to give birth!! Yep,but she had 6 beautiful kittens.

Awwwww how cute!

My sister's cat (who she had been told had been neutered) was 7 weeks pregnant when we found out. We sort of rushed around but she just went in the cupboard and gave birth on a load of cassette tapes! She was a very small persian and gave birth to 4 little black kittens, they looked like little black condoms when they first came out!
We now have 2 of them (bro and sis) who are 12 yrs old!
I watched the whole thing and feel like I have a bond with them both :o)
It's quite an experience!

my cat pishyn just gave birth on mondays, they say the smaller the cat, the litter will be small, my cat is tiny and she only had three she looked huge i could have sworn she was having at least 5, it was her first litter too its so lovely watching nature take place i sat up with my cat all night waiting for them to arrive and i dont regret it at all, u can never tell how many, my vet told me my cat wasnt pregnant 5 weeks ago dddduuurrrrr!! so i dont think they can tell for sure either good luck !! sending big purrs to momma cat wish her well !

my friend's two cats both fell pregnant and gave birth a week apart...1 with 5 kittens and one with 6.

One gave birth in her usual bed, and then immediately moved her brood upstairs behind the loo!!! She left one behind and my friend found it when she went downstairs that morning, it was quite cold and still....but we managed to revive it and it joined it's brothers and sisters, and all 11 kittens got on famously!
