Ned Flanders' Age - An Error?

As established in 'Viva Ned Vegas' Ned is 60. What about his women of late - Rachel, the Church siinger, and Sara Sloane, the actress. They look mid-thirties so should a man of God really be dallying with women nearly half his age? What about Rod and Todd's ages? Besides in 'Hurricane Neddy' the flashback to his time at the Spankological research centre is described as thirty years ago. He didn't look almost thirty to me.

He's definitely 60, it's been mentioned a few times. I think it's supposed to be his clean-living, Christian lifestyle that keeps him looking young. Maybe the error was in the 'Spankological' episode, it should have said 50 years ago.

I think it's just one of the errors that's been made due to the length of time the series has been going. I don't think the writers worry too much as long as it's funny.

Remember the episode where Homer J. does the voice of Poochy the new character in Itchy & Scratchy and there is a Q&A section in Comic Book Guy's Shop? Your doing exactly what the nerd in the front row was doing then......it's only a very funny cartoon it's not supposed to be real life and that's the good thing about it they can take liberties if they want....We'll never know which state Springfield is in for one and anyway "Who cares just enjoy it!"....HA HA. Excellent!
