Hold an eyeliner pencil against the side of your nostril- the pencil should be in line with the start of (fatter end of) your eyebrow. Now tilt the pencil so it point over the middle of your eye- the highest point of the curve of your eyebrow should be in line with this. Now tilt the pencil to line up with the far corner of your eye (still resting it against our nostril)- the end of the eyebrow (the thinner end- not too thin though!) should be in line with this. Don't overpluck...if you do, allow a couple of months at least to grow back your eyebrows fully and then you can start again afresh. spudqueen is right about only taking from the bottom, however if there are any stray ones above the odd one plucked out won't hurt (scuze the pun!). If you are fair you may want to dye your eyebrows a bit darker before starting to pluck yourself because this will make the hairs easier to see and you will be able to define them better. A good trick so you don't get carried away is- get a coloured eyeliner and colour in the bits you want to pluck- you'll be able to visualise the shape easier and will only pluck away the hairs you want to get rid of to create the perfect shape. Once you have attained the perfect shape and you're happy with your eyebrows, make sure you pluck unwanted hairs regularly to avoid losing the shape. If your eyebrows are naturally a bit sparse, use a eyebrow pencil in soft feathery strokes to fill in your eyebrows and create a more groomed look- try and find a pencil with a little brush on the end as combing through them and smudging the lines makes all the difference in making your brows look naturally full and not just pencilled in. Hope any of this helps! :)
