I don't think it matters what other people's opinions are. It depends on how the mother feels, if the father will support her, if they want the baby and if they can bring a child into a loving and safe environment. My advice would be to speak to the college counsellor or advisor to find out your options. Goodluck.
no-one can really answer this can they?
It really depends on how mature you are and how you plan to handle such a responsibility and your future.
Ive known many 18 year olds who were too immature to ever be able to handle being a parent. Some who did have children and never really coped very well with it.
I also know of a couple of women who had children at 18, continued with their careers, studies etc and were able to bring their children up in loving stable homes.

hi i am in this postion im 19 altough it is very hard going to college at the end of the pregnancy i have 5 weeks left
I'm 22 and pregnant, was also worried about what other people would think, but it's honestly going to be the least of your problems.

Like those above have said,if you think you're capable of giving your undivided attention to your child and giving him/her all the love in the world who really cares what other people think? If you're a good mother prove those that look down on you wrong.
Im 17 and in exactly the same situation as you and iv had no problems and ive only bin wiv my bf a year and a half. at first every1 was shocked bt now no1s really bothered. jus carry on how you are its not a big deal these days xx xx
no dont worry about what ppl think i had my son at 18 yrs old and still stay at college and i was a single mum and it didnt stop me fr workin gettin a job and looking after him he is five now and doing great do what you think is best only you can make the right choice
hi jd, i am 20 and nearly six months pregnant. Everyone will have an opinion of you, My advice is that you should be proud to be pregnant and still continuing with your education. Just because you are 18 doesn't mean you will be a crap mum so hold your head high and dont worry about others opinions. Good luck x
I think 3 years is a little soon to start a family. Havnt you heard of the '5 year itch'?? men generally have a 5 year itch when they feel they need to go sow some oates (leave or cheat). Im met my soul mate had been blissfully in love for 6 years when he got his 5year itch - cheated on me. We're getting over it now but its very hard. We have just had our 1st baby and im 26 I should forget about the past but like I say its hard. I would finish college first then see how you feel. You have years ahead of you. Good luck with what you choose to do. Its your life - as long as you enjoy it. xxxx

I see where u r cuming from poopy but i personally dont think all men r like that. an if i thought my boyfriend was like that i wouldnt be with him now. i think im very responsible and mature for my age an my boyfriend is he same. look at vickiesssss, shes living proof that it is possible 2 have a baby and stay in college to get a good education.
It would personally be my worst nightmare to get pregnant before about 27 so I have to say i think young Mums are all crackers but that's just because the concept of tit happeneing to me sends shivers down my spine. It doesn't mean i don't respect what young Mums do to bring up their children but personally, I think you need life experience to really appreciate how life changing a child is.
