Sorry to say, it didnt work for me, i had some mild contractions for an hour then naff all lol
I tried lots of the traditional ways and nothing helped, i needed a sweep in the end!
Nope, it didnt work for me either - I had to get induced.
same here, had a sweep at 7 days past due and was taken for induction at 14 days over. Lazy wotsit still didnt bother coming out til 42+3!

I wont bother next time! :)
and me, didn't do a thing, nor a curry, nor a bumpy track ride in a 4x4 - i was told that a little 'fun' could help, but no-way! In the end i was 10 days over due. All worth it in the end though.
It is supposed to be but the tea tasted vial so I didnt bother.
Hi,
It's impossible to tell whether it worked for me. My baby was only 4 days overdue so I didn't have to be induced, but I don't know whether it was the tea which I took for several weeks, or if it would've happened anyway. Maybe it helps for some people but not others. Another suggestion I was given was to eat lots of pineapple. I guess it can't hurt to try these things.
It tastes rank!
If you think it will help it will!!!!!
I took it ,convinced myself it would work and it seemed to placate me!
My opinion is that it tastes so bad it has to work! bit like medicine.
Good luck ,and remember that bub will only come out when its cooked! not a minute before however much vile tasting tea you drink!
good luck!
Was going to try the raspberry tea but I had fresh pineapple in the last two weeks and my little mite came two days early so try it!! :o)
I drank raspberry leaf tea through the latter part of my pregnancy. (gulp it down and try not to smell it) Not sure if the birth went any smoother because of the tea, (but birth was very straightforward) but afterwards, the midwife was amazed at how quickly my uterus went down.

Give it a go. Would recommend the tea rather than the pills.

Good luck!
