Has anyone ever experienced waking up each morning with a headache during pregnancy. For the past 2 weeks this has been happening to me, Im 13 weeks, and it is starting to annoy me. I dont like to take paracetamol to help get rid but I have had to give in to them.
Can anyone help --- Im wondering if Im sleeping to low in the bed or something!
Speak to your midwife for advice, but in the meantime perhaps try and drink more fluids, maybe in night as well in case its dehydration due to the warm weather.
Hmmm good idea. I do try and drink as much water as possible but the night time suggestion might be worth a go .... maybe each time I have to get up to go to the blinking toilet!!
could be due to dehydration as being 12 weeks myself I get up twice in the night to go to toilet. Take water to bed with you for a day or two and see if it improves.
Oh God - looks like more toilet visits then. I really only get up once per night so I will prepare myself with a commode at the side of the bed instead.
Fingers crossed it works and I will let you all know shortly!
Good luck with your baby too "spanner7853" - when are you due??
Oh you are just after me - is this your first - shall I let you know how painful it is as Im skaking myself!!
Tried the water thing through the night, still woke up with a headache but will persist for a few nights yet. I did not need a wee though which is confusing me after the amount of water I consumed. Obviously the babe must be thirsty inside .........
I now have to have a filling next week as Im taking advantage of my free dental care ........ been told Im ok have the injection to numb my gums but you always worry dont you. xx
hahah no it isnt my first. I have a 13 and a 10 year old from a previous marriage. Lost 2 before getting pregnant with this one, so I know how very very painful it is but thanks anyway ;). fingers crossed no problems so far. Are you drinking plenty in the day as well, had you blood pressure checked.? I wouldnt worry about the injection the dentist wouldn't do anything that might harm you. take care x
