How do work out the dates??
I got pregnant on 4th aug, I therefore assumed i was nearly 4 wks pregnant?? But the nurse said 6 wks?? Thats impossible as i know the night i conceived, does anyone know how they wrk this out?

The average time of ovulation is 2 weeks after your period so if you concieve then you are considered pregnant 2 weeks before you concieve. Not many babies are born on their due date, probably one of the reasons is that not everyone does concieve 2 weeks after their period. Its strange but true!
