Wasn't sure if this was Body & soul Or Literature...Can anyone recommend a good pregnancy companion book. One that tells you week by week about what's happening, the truth about being pregnant, giving birth & what to eat etc. There are so many to choose from. Thanks
"Everywoman" is a book you should always have. Check what books your library has before you choose what to buy and remember baby books are only for reference, babies rarely read them and follow all the rules. Good luck.
Another one i highly recommend you read when you are pregnant (although not exactly about it) is Baby Wisdom by Deborah jackson. It's brill and i buy every pregnant friend a copy! http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0340793503/ref=lm_l b_18/026-5778795-7033240
The Baby book by William Sears and The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding I also highly rate.
As well as buying books , you are entitled to free publications from your GP. Emma's Diary is a week by week guide to pregnancy and commonly asked questions and you should also get a copy of the bounty book , as without these books , you are not only missing out on valuable insights into other women's experiences but also on the free packs which you can claim from Mothercare and Boots. All the best with your impending arival !
