Infant milk to USA?
Hi, my friend is going to Orlando in March with her 6 month old baby. She is very unsure about wether she is allowed to take cartons or tins of baby milk. She also cant find any info on wether Farleys second milk would be available to buy in Orlando. Any answers would be great, thanks.

I took some when my daughter was a baby (about 4 years ago) and made sure i took new sealed tins of baby milk and they stopped me on the way in and said I shouldnt be taking it in. i explained that as the tins were sealed I presumed it would be ok and they eventually let me take it through. She may get away with it. the most they will do is take it off her. Im not sure if you can get farleys over there
I'd contact Heinz who make Farleys as to WHETHER they make Farleys in the US, possibly under a different name. I have had a look on the Walgreens (a drug store with lots of stores in Florida) website and there is no Farleys listed, but as I say it maybe marketed under a different name.

Though there is nothing on this site to say that you can't take formula milk in

there's nothing to say you can either! lol. I thought it would be ok too spudqueen but apparently they class it as dairy and its not allowed. Like I say she could be ok, depends on whether they xray your luggage or not and what side of the bed they got out of! Id already taken it previous to that and noone stopped me but noone had seen it hidden in my case then!
But lou, you can take in cheese and dried foods so I don't see why there should be a problem!
The only thing is that you might, just might, get all your luggage x-rayed at customs. Both my friend and I declared that we had tea bags in our luggage on the customs form, all her familys luggage was x-rayed, ours wasn't!
