general aches and pains to occur in early stages of pregnancy.
Its all to do with your hormones making the ligaments soften in readiness for expanding as the baby grows.

Any severe pains or bleeding would need checking out though.

Rest as well as you can and watch that you lift things in the correct manner so that you dont put any extra pressure on the ligaments.
I had general aching as well - bit like tummy ache only lower down and and I remember panicking about it and presuming something was wrong. I agree with red, if it gets really sore then i would get it checked.

Did you speak to the hospital about the tests you had/give them the good news? Have you told your OH yet?

Its common to get mild period type pains in early pregnancy,I had them in all 3 pregnancies and my daughter had them too(she had her baby almost 3 weeks ago). Try not to worry but as the others said if it gets worse or you get any bleeding phone the GP immediately. Congratulations. :-)
Hi LittleMiss, I remember having pains like those you described - almostperiod pain like if I remember rightly.

Congratulations to your and MrLM xx
