Too big and too high for dates ...... TWINS ?

Hi all. Saw my midwife today to get checked over. I am 11 + 4, my dates are deadly accurarate as i have dye injected on 28th Jan + scan, but midwife says im too big and too high which could indicate twins. Has anyone else been told this and only ended up with one ? I was suspicious of twins anyway because of my severe long term sickness. I will find out @ scan on Friday for definate but was wondering if u ladies had any simular experiences ?
