No real sign as yet, i did clean a lot yesterday and then wake at 4.30 with a constant tummy ache but fell asleep again til 7.30. gort a bit of an ache still now but nothing that indicates anythings happening.

Got a sweep to 'look forward to' tomorrow, but really hope i dont need it.

Ive finalised basic plans for when i go into labour, someone to look after little CRX and found my TENS machine at last so in theory i should be all ready.

Just as long as i dont go 17 days over I think i can cope lol

yep, my final day mamma. After all the talk of premature babies with diabetes and heavy weights, then the breech / c-sect scare and baby being engaged for nearly 3 weeks I suppose Id got my hopes up for a 38/39 week birth.

I shall have to consult my friend who calls me and tells me when im getting strong pains as she feels them too. I think shes getting fed up with waiting too lol

I have my 'decision' appointment today! Wish me luck my BP isn't too high!

andrea, i hope your BP is fine hun. I was told that grapefruit juice is good for lowering BP and it worked for me last time round, though mine was just stress so not sure if it could help you xx

I'm going to say Sunday. :) I was half way there with Natalie's waters breaking on the night I predicted, anyway. Hope you're doing alright, though, red... even if you didn't pop on Friday. ;)

hi all.

sorry i went AWOL this morning, had an antenatal at hospital.

saw another consultant who says that my baby, though big, is not outside normal parameters (ie its 9-10bs) and they will not induce til 42 weeks

The consultant did give me a sweep and though i wasnt favourable as such (1cm and posterior) he was quiet firm with it and said he couldve broken my waters if he'd tried.

So im now sat feeling uncomfortable but hoping it has done the trick. Last pregnancy my sweep certainly wasnt a vigourous as this one so i hope something kicks off.
