Pregnancy at music festivals
4 Answers
I will be going to a music festival this August and will be 5 months pregnant at that point.
Has anyone got any handy hints or tips? How did it go, any of you who have been to festivals pregnant?

depends really on how your pregnancy is going. Some women find they get a burst of energy during the middle months.
Make sure you drink plenty of water, dont stand next to speakers as baby will be able to hear the noise, avoid any dodgy food stalls and try and eat well, cover up and avoid the heat of midday sun and get plenty of rest.
Hardly the same but i managed a Madness concert in Thetford forest a few days before my due date and i had to take a chair with me to sit down.

I have done it and I'm not trying to outdo you but I did Glastonbury at 8 months and 3 weeks!
Take strong friend with you, willing to carry lots of water around with you. A little supply of glucose tablets. Lilo, blow up mattress great idea.
When watching bands don't go into the crowd, just dance and soak up the atmosphere where the crowd thins out, you don't have to be right at the back, but you know what I mean. Take your notes with you and a big hat! I was big fat cowgirl all weekend, and fell asleep on some haybails, the orange people snapped me and I appeared in the festival NME on the saturday, and I got a free mobile for it.
I had a great time and Pilton is normally really friendly but everyone talked to me that year.
