Wrong gender scan
24 Answers
Hi wondering if anyone can help me. We had a gender scan at 16 weeks and found out it was a boy. We were unable to get pics of the babys genitalia as the baby wasnt playing very nicely so couldn,t get a clear pic. We have a picture od the baby side on with his knees to his chest and a couple of friends have commented 'are you sure its a boy' as it looks like there is the classic three lines which suggests a girl. Confused now! Would you be able to see the lines from side view? Please help. Scan picture can be viewed at http://www.flickr.com/photos/16446360@N08/?sav ed=1

Id say thats hard to tell, ive been told that boys looks like a mushroom and girls 3 lines.
There was a woman on my mums club who was told she was having a boy at scan, gave boy name and then at birth found baby was a girl.
If you were paying for a private sexing scan why on earth did they let you book it for such an early date?
