hi all,
i'm 40 in a few days and still cant make my mind up if i sholud try again to have a baby or not, as i lost one a few months ago, and just wondered at what age do people think women should stop trying to get pregnant?
you can't look back in 5 years and regret not trying. if you're otherwise fit and healthy I'd say go for it. 40 is the new 30, and women often have babies at "our age".
oh 42.. it's much, much worse!! apparently I don't look it, but I wouldn't lie about it. I much prefer it when people say, "wow, 42? I can't believe it!"
the ageing process is crap, but I'm (fairly) chilled about it!
I agree with the others; I'd go for it! If you want to try for another child then you will regret not giving it a go in a few years. Do you have other children already?
I was 36 when I had my first and their were quite a few others a lot older. One of them was 42 and it was her first and went on to have another at 44. This was 25 years ago and things are even better now. Go for it or you will regret not trying in a few years time.
my sister had her first child at 41. child is now 4, and. pregnancy was a healthy one as well as mother and baby. don't stop trying, it's not late. good luck.
hi everyone, 40 is not that late to hv children what abt 47, im still trying but no luck, shall i stop.. i adopt a baby girl last year, thinking that i will hv my own baby by doing that. some doctors want to help some don't, helping doctors cost a lot of money what shall i do?
