Could I be pregnant?

I had a mirena for just under a year. During this time I had no periods(only a few spots). I had it removed just over a month ago and had a period a few days later. It is now 30days since my period but a test is showing negative. Could I still be pregnant or are my hormones just adjusting

it can take a few weeks from conception for the pregnancy hormones to build up. sometimes women can be testing for 2 weeks from missing period before getting a result

do a test first thing in the morning when levels are more concentrated and try every few days until you get either a positive or your period.

chiswicik, bobbybob has said shes tried a test. i think she really wants to know if its likely or if test is correct at 30days into cycle

lol bobby, believe it or not, there is a post nearly every week from someone who simply asks if they are pregnant so i can understand why they replied like that as ive done it before to those who havnt done a test.

I hope you get the result you want, sometimes the end of contraception can lead to a sudden surge in fertility. But dont be surprised if it is just a late period.

hi i had a mirena after my daughter was born and decided after 18 mths that the time was right to try for another baby. i got my period on the 20th feb and coil out on the 21st feb. i thought it could take a few mths to get preg but by the 21st march i was pregnant. good luck
