my midwife always tells me how active my baby is, iv also had an email saying to count the amount of times she moves in an hour but if i did that id be here all day as she is never still i actully dont think she steeps at all iv cut down on chocolate and things like that so i can maybe get some sleep at night haha, but does this mean shes never going to sleep when shes born and shes going to be a really hyper child?

So like you, I worried she'd never sleep at night when she was born. How wrong could I be?! Nancy has slept through the night (10-12 hours) since she was 6weeks old!
As long as she's moving a minimum of 10 times a day, she'll be fine, they can't move too much!!

Hi carlie, I sooooo miss all that belly wriggling! My little one is six months now, and like K8's baby, she has slept through the night since 5-6 weeks, and even before then she would wake minimal times during the night.
When she was in my belly she was an active baby, but not excessively so during the day but mostly the late afternoons, through the evenings and night time.
Even now she sleeps 12 hours a night and another 2-3 hours during naps in the day.
So, to put your mind at rest, I don't think their activity now reflects how wriggly and active they will be when they are born. Good luck with everything xx

i also love the feeling of her wriggling about but it makes me really want to be able to see her and see what she is doing! i dnt like it so much when she does something to my spine which sends a feeling like when you bang your funy bone straight down my legs feel like iv been paralised for a few seconds this wakes me up like twice a night!
