Am I allowed to have a rant??

I am a little peeved off at the mo and just need to get it all out if I may please? lol

I was asked on Tues just gone to organise our office Christmas party for next Thursday. (I work in an all male office so they've typically left it until last minute to sort out!) Anyway I luckily managed to find a restaurant that has availabilty for 10 of us (it's a fairly small office) for next Thursday evening which has a set menu price including a disco for the budget I was told. I thought, "Great that's sorted then," only to be told earlier that one of the guys doesn't like the sound of the place so we're not going there and he is going to sort it out himself.
Like why ask me in the first place then?
He is leaving so late that I doubt he'll find anywhere else now and it might not be enough notice for everyone else in the office.
Grrr. Sorry but I feel so much better now that is off my chest!
I just temp here too so feel I can't justify my argument if that makes sense?

well if he wants to do it let him, and then if he cant find anywhere watch them all moan that he cancelled the first one and sit there and laugh and refuse to organise another. you really shouldnt be peed off. dont let it get to you, less hassle for you know really.

Believe you me eash, I had my fair share of organising xmas parties and I say you're better off out of it!!!!

Every year we have folks moaning about where we going.

This year it is me doing the moaning as we are having a pub meal instead of a restaurant. My job is allocating �35 per staff and I really really begrudge spending this amount in the pub!!!

all right for you funny girl, i've got �20.00 per head we're off to the pub and the meal is 15.95 ph which leaves up with �24.30 between 6 of us on booze, somehow i think we may go over.....
