Hiya guys,

thanks for all your kind words for my last 2 posts, i was sooo worried about my 20 week scan!

it went just fine ( nearly) and im having another baby girl!! im so excited!! was lovely to see her on the screen!!!

the only problem was.... they said the placenta was very low and i have to go back for re-scan in a month or so to make sure it has risen, if not i may have to have a c-section, obviously this scared the hell out of me, but she reasured me this happens alot and nothing to worry about, will hopefully all will be ok next scan!

i have gone mad!! i have bought so much for the little babs!!! i think i have gone over board!! my and my daughter have bought her everything she possibly needs!! tho me and my partner have been saving since we found out, and tried not to go shopping till we knew the sex, im so prepared!!

awhhhh.. fabby news, big congrats!

don't worry about the low-lying placenta.. I had that and it righted itself, as it usually does.

congrats! i was hoping mine was a girl but its a boy lol my placenta is low down too, ive gotta go back when im about 34 weeks to check its moved up. the woman doing the scan said its very common and nothing to worry about

Hi onlyme! Good news. glad all is well. I'm glad we dont know the sex of our baby cos I'd probably need to remotgage the house by now! lol!
I had my ecv procedure today. It hurt like hell. Had a very good go on the gas and air though! Despite all the roughness from the registrar the stubborn little thing refused to turn so my c-section is booked for the 30th. At least we tried.
Hopefully things will have righted themselves by your next scan then, fingers crossed. I'm sure you'll be fine anyway. ;o)
