Hello fellow mums to be
Hello all you AB mum's to be. Just thought I'd say, I had my 20 week scan today and all looked fine. I don't think baby liked it too much and ended up writhing around, but we got a lovely pic of his side profile. Just have to come up with a name now.

I never had a 20 week scan - they don't do them routinely where I lived when I was pregnant - I got a dating scan and that was that. I am sure it is great getting to see a proper baby if you get what I mean!
Most of the names I like are Scottish, so probably not any use to you ;o)

we were the same velvetee, in the end we have Craig and Ciar. Other names I liked were Kerr, Gregor, Struan, Rowan & Lorne. We also had Alec, Walker, David and Austin on the list at various times.
Some other names in our family for boys are Oscar, Caleb, Aaron, Callum, Evan, Joe & Luis.

Just Like the first bit of Keiran or the drink Kir, Kee-ir - the Gaelic version of Keiran is Ciaran and means the little dark one - the "an" bit means little and as he is not going to be little (like my older son, he is expected to be between 6'3 and 6'5) so we removed the "an".
He was very dark when he was born, but now although he still has quite dark skin (for a Scot!) By the time he was 6 months old, he had blond wavy hair. He has almond shaped eyes that are no colour and every colour if you get me and looks vaguely chinese from a distance - I blame my husbands side - he swears that his maternal great grandmother who was supposably Irish, looks like an old chinese woman in the only photo he has ever seen.
Anyway, total ramble but thats where his name comes from.
Anyway, I also like Findlay or Finn which might be appropriate given the scandinavian link.

There a few names that I'm dancing around at the moment - it's impossible to choose because I change my mind everyday.
At the moment, I'm quite settled on Isaac or Jonah...although when I tell people, they say it'll get shortened to Joe, which I don't want. Another name I like is Jackson, but again, that will end up being shortened to Jack.
