Hi every1 :) Im over 28 weeks pregnant now with a boy and i thought me and the baby's father were settled on the name keanan but the other day baby's father said he wasnt really that keen on keanan anymore and liked the name Theo alot better.
I didnt like it at 1st but the more i think about it, the more im starting to warm to it.
Babys fathers last name is Wilson so he would be called Theo Wilson.
Just wondered what every1 thinks about it, do u like it?

Akira is sound -must mean something.
I like Theo too. He won't be embarrased by the name when he is a man either

Best wishes for you and baby Theo Wilson

Rosy xx
I'm sure you wouldn't even have considered the name Theo three years ago but unfortunately there is now a well known footballer with the same name so the name is now popular amongst the chav classes.
Lucy were did you get that fact from can you post a link please?

Thanks
Theo, or Theodore, is a lovely name. It won't date, and will suit his various spells of growing up.

Wizard - Daniel's a nice name, but I thought you might've had Damian?
I don't like it really
How about Jonathan Wilson
Theo is all right when he's young but sounds a bit daft later on. In my opinion :-)
Harold is a good one!
All the best anyway!
Awwww!!! Harold's OK when you're an old man, but imagine standing at the door, calling your 3 year old into teh house.
"HaaaaROOOOOLD!" : (
Where I used to live there was a little boy called Stanley when he was born I went over with a present as you do and said what have you called him - she said Stanley I didn't know what to say. She went you don't like it do you?
Sorry - I think that name's dreadful!! : )
mind you, not as bad as a woman I know who has a baby called Bertram. You can't even call him Bertie. It sounds awful, poor little devil.

Theo is a good sound name. (You can't please everybody, so don't even try).
There are famous Theos in history too. It's not necessarily a modern name, but it definitely isn't out of date. It's a lovely name for a lovely boy/man.

i wrote that before i read this page of answers lol aww well we cant all like the same name i suppose, can we. I do think Ice-Maiden - harold is an awful name, makes me think of an old man :/ sorry.
quite like johnathan but babys father is called john and i know it aint exactly the same but we wanted a name totally different.
as for theo sounding daft when he is older, i dissagree, i think its both cute and masculine.

Well out of all the answers ive had so far, only 2 people dont seem to like the name theo, which i think is brilliant :D
Love the name, quite unusual and distinct, hope everything goes well for you. best wishes
Hi, only just seen this thread - Theo can be short for anyone of the Greek names - as this list will show, and once you decide on which it is - he will have a "name day" (like a second birthday !!)

Hope the link works !

Thanx for that link, was interesting ;) Didnt realise there were so many Theo names.
To be honest im not keen on any of the names, i prefer just Theo but if i had to pick 1, think Theologos is the best. Theoklitos makes me think of something rude lol
Theologos - Mmmm

He would probably grow up to be good with No's if it follows his name !!

Accountant ?? Earn lots of dosh, keep his Mum in comfort ! (when you get old !)

Hee Hee !

Good luck with it anyway !
Question Author
lol yeah that would be very nice :) x
