Hi Velvetee - wow its getting close for you now eh?? I had the 2006 version of this pram which I fully intend using again this time round (am almost 16 wks!) - the car seat in the chassis is sooo convenient and really neat (great for around town) plus the pram seat is both forward and rear facing with a good range of positions. It was also quite light compared to other prams. (I had a c-section and managed really well with it). I would say that the new version does seem to have a very small pram seat - I cant imagine baby will fit in that for very long?? The one I have has a much bigger body ( if you see what I mean??) I never had need to get the Dreami cot attatchment but its handy to know you can get these things later if you need to. Hope this helps. Take care xx

Hi Upsydaisy, thanks for your reply and I hope your pregnancy is going well. I only have 2 weeks left to go.

From what I read about the new Buzz 3, is the basic pushchair seat is adjustable so it can be used for a child up to 3. We were just planning to get the pushchair and Maxi Cosi car seat, but we were told newborn babies shouldn't be kept in the car seat, except for short transfers, so we would need to have the carry cot too.

Obviously it's over 600 for the whole system, cheaper in some places, just want to make sure it's the right product for us and baby.
i dont know if its the buzz 3, but the buzz did have 2 seat fabrics, the big comfy padded one and then new fabric (not padded for when baby was bigger. If thats still the case, make sure you get both.

I dont know if you have bought it yet but kiddicare are great for delivery, price matching and customer service. They have a huge shop in Peterborough and the buzz offers are online here http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ser vlet/searchresults_0_Price%7C1_primary_10751_s et_-1__10001?Ntt=buzz

the buzz can feel a bit rickety at the handle because of the telescopic handle but ive not really heard of any major faults with the buzz at all. Quinny is a pretty decent make.

Thanks Red, I did have a look at that site and the Buzz 3 is probably 200 cheaper than Mothercare. I just can't believe the price of these things. It's like buying a car!
Hi Velvetee

I got my Buzz from the pram centre in Glasgow and saved a fortune ( I got the buggy and Pram for what other places are charging just for the buggy) and i got the maxi cosy car seat and base for 140. I love it, its not the best looking pram in the world but, I think its the most practical. My only beef is that the carry cot is a wee bit small, my daughter was out of it by 6 months. I wholey intend on using it for number 2
