Did you have your baby on your due date?

I'm due to have mine next Saturday and wondered if other ladies babies were born on their due date, before or after?

1st babe early - 2day labour; 2nd early - 30min no labour & 3rd - 2weeks late, toxemia & ceaser!

My first was due to arrive on or around Boxing Day, which would've been nice as it was my parents wedding anniversary then, but he didn't arrive until mid January! The second was spot on.

Icey, my baby1 was due on Boxing Day! she arrived on Jan 5th.

baby2 was a day early.. bliss :o)

Lol - once the contractions get going, you don't really NEED to push, do you - they're fighting to enter the world all on their own!
Sara - my son arrived on the 15th January. I thought he was never going to appear!

my daughter was 9lb 7oz, and I think she would have stayed put for much longer.. but I just couldn't hang on!

Thanks everyone. I get the feeling mine will be a bit late.

I do feel the pregnancy has flown by. All in all, it's been a very good pregnancy, no Morning Sickness, I lost weight and my skin is really clear and smooth. In a way, I guess I'll miss being pregnant.

Lol @ Sara - not at all. Well worth waiting for as well. He's 11 now, and a brilliant musician and all-round clever child. I'm very proud of them both.
Your daughter was a good size! My first was quite small, and the second was 8lb. 3oz.

blimey sara....my last, girl was the biggest at 6.3 & she's 5ft 2in whereas sons over 6ft were 5.2 & 5.6

I know, and I was a stick size 8! my son was over 8lb, but that was a quick(ish) labour.

awhh.. your son sounds gorgeous. mine is 12 and a complete nightmare!

Well I was huge - both times - when I was pregnant. I gained 4 stone on each occasion, but lost it again very quickly. The doctor thought I was having twins at first, and when I knew I wasn't, he said I'd have a whopping baby, but as I say, the first one was 6lbs. 10ozs - so not all that large at all. Must've carried a lot of water.

and I was tested for gestational diabetes but no, I just have huge babies :o/

both weighed 9lbs 6.5ozs so im glad my little girl was that much earlier.
