Wake him up to run you to hospital.....then will be the start of his celebrations with his mates congrats etc. You? Well, just suffer for now - like most women. You will be so full of admiration & love for your new man you wont care.
Michael would be a lovely name?

when having my son 8 years ago my then partner was sat in the corner of the delivery suite pouting eating chocolate because i went nuts on him for useing the gas and air, he really got on my nerves and we didnt speak for about 6 hours.
my partner now though was like yours......sleeping, although i cant blame him as he had just got in from doing a 12 hour night shift!
Your partner remaining in bed is probably for the best at the moment because he will probably just irritate you at the moment, men just dont know what to do in this situation, bless them lol. How exciting velvet, baby on his way, good luck and i hope you have a speedy recovery xxxx

Hope you've had him by now!
My partner refused to come home from work because his colleagues were all telling him that it would be a false alarm!! So I was on AB talking to Red and a few others! Then when he finally did come home, he watched dances with wolves, had a shower and basically faffed around not doing as he was told. He was great at the hosp tho....apart from eating biscuits in front of me while I was nil-by-mouth! oh and telling everyone how tired HE was, after I'd had baby bailey.......men lol!

I was with my wife (but I had to force the doctors/nurse to let me).
This was back in 1950 and 1952,when men just WEREN'T allowed in for the birth.
They let me in when they couldn't understand what Elsie was saying, her English was still bad then, and she had a heavy accent still! LOL
I wanted to be there though and was for the next 2,but by the Elsie could tell them herself.

First time mine was the midwife said this will happen and the midwife said that
in the end I was yelling the midwife isn't bludy here and I'm saying
The second time I rng my next door neighbour to come and get my elder son when she arrived at the door he woke up and said something like I hope your waters don't break in the car
But he was good during the delivery even if he did send out text saying mum and baby well but dad yet to recover!!!
