Women's trouble ...

Apologies for duplicate post. I posted it over an hour ago in Body & Soul, but it still isn't showing up.

I finished my periods about 2 years ago, then unexpectedly had a brief and light one (lasting 2 days) about 2 months ago.

I have been having pains in my stomach for the last few days, similar to period pains, but no menstrual blood.

Is this likely to be part of the menopause, or should I go to the doc and get it checked out?

Hello windywillow , cute username btw , yes hun , any unexpected bleed is worth a trip to your gp , it may be of no consequence at all , but at least your mind will be at ease .
Was the bleed heavy , and were there any clots , or was it scant ? xxx

Thanks for reply bigmamma. The bleed was light, and no clots.

I spoke to a friend who said the same thing happened to her and it was just down to hormonal changes, or something like that (can't remember exactly what she said, but basically it was nothing to worry about in her case).
