T.i.a Symptons

The hospital think my wife may have had a mini stroke or t.i.a. The usual symptons were absent when the paramedics tested and the E.G.G in hospital was ok. She did, however, lose her memory of events for about 6 hours. I wonder if this also a sympton even I can find no reference.

short term memory loss is a symptom of a stroke, but on its own I don't know if its enough to say it's definitely a TIA.

Loss of memory for 6hours cannot in anyway be described as "transient"

She needs MRI brain scan.
