Anyone who's had a miscarriage, how long did it take for your periods to return to normal?

Anyone who's had a miscarriage, how long did it take for your periods to return to normal? Mine is taking a while but friends who've had one say theirs went straight back to normal. any thoughts? x

How long is a piece of string?

It varies from person to person...........2 months to one year.

I know everyone's different; I wanted some indication of other people's experiences.
Sorry,mcmelon......never had a miscarriage, but I do know a little about such things.

This is the 5th week. I know it was prob wishful thinking but I so want to come on so that we can start trying again. It's horrible just waiting. We followed docs advice and waited for one period after first but that period isn't turning up. Sad faces.
mcmelon, it was about 6-8 weeks for me. I was advised to wait about 3 months before trying again so try to relax a bit and give your body a break.
