I'm trying to edit a video using WMM.I want to cut out an unwanted section but I don't get the visual clips running along the timeline for me to highlight .Any ideas please?

Are you using Windows 7? If so, insert your videos then drag the marker (which is a vertical black line) to the desired point and right-click it for cutting options.

If it's XP/Vista, you might need to click the "switch to timeline" button which is somewhere around the bottom left-hand corner as far as I can remember...
