we're off to the forbidden corner in north yorkshire tomorrow - and very excited we are too.
I've looked on their website and leaflet and there is a very narrow space to squeeze through and I'm worried that we won't fit! (Me and hubby are no skinny lizzies!)

Has anyone been?

I am sure I read that there is another way round the narrow part.

well that's the most exciting thing, box and pink - as you leave they ask you not to tell too much so it doesn't spoil it for others.
It's like a walk through adventure park with twists and turns and lots of surprises and things to lookf for. That's all i can tell you!

I sometimes check on Tripadvisor before I go somewhere as people tell it like it is. Some comments on there about it being difficult for disabled people or for pushchairs, but no mention of it being so cramped that you won't get through the tunnels and so on.

Wow, that looks brill! Wish they had something like this down South.
So do i Tigger :o(
We live not too far away crisgal it is absolutely brilliant - have been loads of times with grandchildren. Don't worrry about your size I am one big momma and I was ok. The space you are talking about is actually a trompe l'oeil. It is a tunnel and it looks as though you can get out of the end but you can't. The first time we went my grandson got ahead of me and got out the end and I couldn't follow - talk about panic.

Wonderful day out - enjoy - don't forget to book

it is a fab day out - we've been 3 times.

There is only one part of it you won't be able to get through - it is a tunnel that starts out a normal size but shrinks away to nothing. I'm a skinny beanpole and I had trouble getting through it so anyone normal size or above would really struggle....and you have to be on all fours.

You will be fine with everything else - have a great time!
Wow! That's look fantastic. I'm not watching the full clip so I don't spoil it. I am definitely going to the Forbidden Corner.....if I'm allowed. Thanks, Cris :)
BTW, crisgal - let us know how you enjoyed the day xx
Thanks for the clip pink... It looks great and would suit all ages. Have fun crisgal

we had a great time. It was a bit busy, though only to be expected, given the day.
I didn't watch the clip either so had lots of surprises. Nothing scary though.
Kids absolutely loved it.
Worth the four hour round trip!!
I would advise anyone to take a day off school and go when it's quiet. They are supposed to stagger the visitors but I think they'd given up! You could hear people in front of you and felt a bit rushed by those behind. We ended up hanging back a bit and enjoyed some of the 'things' on our own - much better!
And the cafe's not great. Expensive and we waited ages for cold burgers!
Next time I would definitely take a picnic.
Glad you enjoyed it crisgal - it is a fab day out.
