child benefit application

Hiya, does anyone know how long it takes to recieve an application form for child benefit once you have rung up to request one? For various reasons i don't really want to ring them again, but it will have been 3 weeks next week since i requested it so not sure whether to chase them or whether that's normal.

i dont know about getting one by post, bednobs, but you could try printing one off from here.

thanks but because of the circumstances that form dosen't cover it. They have to send you a special form to get the 8 weeks' worth, cause there is no way to answer the "does the child live with you" question

are you still seeing a health visitor at the moment? they may be able to call on your behalf or may have access to such forms. I would have expected it to have been sent straight away.
