Hi, got some free chocolate (curly wurlie, ordinary bar of chocolate and a crunchie each) plus two or three free tastings of liquid chocolate (I passed on that but the kids loved it). It was quite educational but not an outright failure maybe a 7 out of 10.
>>>It was quite educational but not an outright failure<<<
That seems to imply that you regard 'truly educational' as synonymous with 'outright failure'! Hardly the correct attitude from a qualified teacher, surely?
;-)
Hi - our family days out should be fun, know you are joking though. No one is getting a curly wurlie or any other chocolate, we only came home with 13 of them (and 7 crunchies, 10 Freddo Frogs, 10 chomps, 10 fingers of fudge, 7 bars of chocolate and a 1kg bar - hardly enough to last till the weekend!).
Hi Red - think it was £50 for a family ticket for 2 adults and 3 children (under 4's we're free). Lasted about 1 1/2 hours but there is an outdoor play place. Stopped at a nice pub on the way (6 miles away) which was really busy but had the most polite and pleasant staff we have ever come across (found slightly above average but not outrageously expensive).
