It does not fly backwards ! When it does the Cobra maneuver it does move backwards but it is no longer actually flying and if the pilot did not put on full thrust and move the stick forward it would drop out of the sky.

Almost any aircraft will do that, so long as it has a thrust:mass ratio better than 1:1. (Fly-by-wire system permitting)
Some aircraft are SO unstable, a pilot cannot fly them successfully. If the fly-by-wire crashes, so does the aircraft.
