stain removal...

it is the very first time it has happened.........urine stain on a plain brick-coloured carpet.......60% wool......the stain is dry....any help on how I can safely deal with it ?

thank you boxtops.....that will be my job this afternoon......sunny but cold.....I'll walk the dogs first...
you could try mixing bicarbonate of soda with a little water and rubbing the stain then let it dry and hoover it. Bicarb also get rid of the smell it nutrilises it somehow
If the stain is dried so you can used white vinegar and baking soda with a little bit water mix up all ingredients in a spray bottle and spray it on a stained area and soaked with a paper towels and newspaper to remove urine stains. The fresh urine you can take away before it dried up, especially from carpet; put a paper towel on the wet area to pat it nicely.
