My husband has been of work sick and is unable to return to work. Do his employers have to pay him anything if they are unable to find him a different position in the company and terminate his employment?

We'd go through the capability processes and then if the person isn't fit for the job they are employed in, they'd leave on medical grounds. There wouldn't be any compensation.
