Change the locks?
Change the locks as Hopkirk says.

What interest has she registered?
changing the locks will cost you between 50-100 quid
But to change the locks you'd need to get into the house. And to get in you'd need the keys.
just ring a locksmith and tell them you've lost your keys and locked yourself out
You don't need to get in to change the locks as long as you can prove to the locksmith that you are the owner of the house. Or you could break in yourself and then get the locks changed/change them yourself.
He hasn't said that he doesn't have a key.
do you mean she has been to court and took out a register of interest against the property with the land registry? that can only happen i think if you owe her money surely, it won't stop you selling the house but when you do she possibly will get the amount out of the equity that she has stated in the order.
Do you have to go to court to register an interest?
yes ummmm, i assume so, you can't just write someone a letter saying you want £50.000 out of their housesale or else we'd all give that a go.
I hope zidan comes back and clarifies the position
anyone else noticed a flurry of first time posters tonight with very complex problems?
